Problem: The plugins own mixer doesn't have any effect on the sound.Ĭause: Each plugin voice is sent to a separate output, so the full sound is heard regardless of the mixers settings. Solution: Select ' Wrapper Settings' and disable 'Notify about parameter changes'. Problem: The plugin does not respond to Automation Clips or recorded automation event data. Solution: Select ' Wrapper Settings > Processing' and enable 'Use fixed size buffers' and 'More > Process maximum size buffers'. Problem: Arp presets rendering out of sync. Solution: Switch on ' Use fixed size buffers' option in the wrapper (you'll have to reset/reload the plugin for it to take effect) Problem: No sound and the audio monitor shows a single line at the extreme left or right Solution: Make sure the plugin is activated and the latest version installed.

If your plugin is not listed below, try the steps listed in the FL Studio manual - ' Plugins behaving badly'.Īlways start by downloading the latest version of the plugin from the developer and the latest version of FL Studio available to you. If you have a plugin that you fixed a problem for, that isn't currently listed here, please report it in the Technical Support Forum and inform us about the issue so that we can add it to the KB article. The list is not complete, but we add problem plugins as we find them. These are VST / AU plugins with known problems in FL Studio, and the solution(s). Your Dry mixer channel shouldn't have any FX on it and your Wet channel should have the FX you want but within the plug in itself make sure its only outputting the Wet only signal so it's not doubling the dry signal.īut remember the more FX your wet signal has then the more delay theres going to be when your record because of the more processing power.Issues with VST / AU Plugins in FL Studio (Plugins behaving badly) Then both of those Dry and Wet channels should be routed to the master. You want to take your input mixer channel and disable the routing to master and instead route them two different mixer channels Dry and Wet. If you want to record with FX but keep the original dry recording you will have to route it differently Now if you want to record with FX but dont care if you have the original dry recording then you can just throw FX on your input mixer channel If you take the routing mix down to say 0% then its like your didnt record anything at all thats why you have to disable it completely

If you dont want to hear the live mic while recording just disable the routing to the master and when youre done recording it will be assigned to mixer channel 100 or what ever mixer channel is free then just reassign it to where ever you want. If you want to record it clean without any FX route it to the master like it should be already then just enable the ARM recording button for that channel, enable record and it will record into the playlist. Route to track 1 then to the master channel for example so everything gets properly delay compensated To avoid further delay issues try and avoid having your channels routed only to the master mixer channel. Youre going to want to to go to macros and click on enable smart disable for all plug ins then disable the FX at the bottom for as many mixer channels as possible when you record otherwise it will all add to the delay.
